Margareta Juhlin Lund, born in Linkoping, Sweden. As a teenager I took courses in oil painting, drawing, ceramics and china painting. After immigrating to the United States in 1967, I continued my Art studies at the Pacific Art League in Palo Alto, Foothill College and Canada College, all in northern California.

Between 1986 to 1993, my work was exhibited at the Palo Alto Main Library, Mitchell Park Library, the Elizabeth Norton Studio of the Pacific Art League and at Gallery 9 in Los Altos, California.

I served as the Exhibit Director and Community Service Director in the Pacific Art League from 1982 to 1985 and served on their Board of Directors, and since 1980 my focused studies have been oil painting and life drawing. My landscape expressions are paintings that reflect a passion for the beauty of nature. As a resident of California's central coast for the past twelve years, I'm absorbed with capturing on canvas the beauty from this part of the world.

My jewelry design is a relatively new interest. I search for the finest materials and work to design elegant, fun and serious pieces for all occasions.

If you have questions about my work or to discuss commissions or custom-made jewelry, please feel free to call me at 805-473-1184 or email me at margareta@lundsgift.com. Please check back often for updates and new pieces. All of my work is available at our shop in Arroyo Grande.
